12 Days – 11 Nights

Day 01: Friday - SANTIAGO
Arrival, reception at airport and transfer to selected hotel for accommodations and breakfast.

Day 02: Saturday – SANTIAGO – PUNTA ARENAS – M/N MARE AUSTRALIS
Breakfast at hotel.
Transfer to airport and board flight to Punta Arenas.
Recepcion and transfer to M/N Mare Australis terminal.
1.00 p.m.- 5.00 p.m.: Passengers check-in at Magallanes 990, Punta Arenas.
6.00 pm -7.00 pm: Boarding "Mare Australis" expedition cruiseship. The crew, headed by the Captain, will welcome you aboard for cocktails with your cruise companions. Immediately after, the ship will depart towards the city of Ushuaia, through the mythical Strait of Magellan, sailing through the Patagonian Channels and around Tierra del Fuego. The beginning of a great adventure.

Day 03: Sunday – M/N MARE AUSTRALIS
With the first light of dawn, navigation will continue through Almirantazgo Fjord. We will disembark in Ainsworth Bay near Marinelli Glacier, where we will take a walk to see an elephant seal colony closely and we will also appreciate the Magellan Forests.
During the afternoon, we will approach Tucker Islet on board zodiac boats to admire a small colony of Magellan Penguins. We will also see other bird species such as Skuas and Cormorants. The presence of dolphins and sea lions is also likely.

Day 04: Monday – M/N MARE AUSTRALIS
Early morning finds us by the D´Agostini Fjord where we can appreciate the Serrano Glacier and later the D'Agostini Glacier. We will disembark in Cóndor Bay, close to the Cóndor Glacier. Here we will enjoy a short walk through the native forest and an excursion by boats.
After boarding again, the ship will sail through the Magdalena and Cockburn channels towards the Beagle Channel.
Transfer to airport and board flight to Punta Arenas. Reception and transfer to check in area to board ship at 18:00 hours and start cruise along the mythical Strait of Magellan.

Day 05: Tuesday – M/N MARE AUSTRALIS
Sightseeing of Garibaldi Glacier and the impressive snow-covered mountains of the Darwin Range.
Disembark at the coast of the Garibaldi Inlet to take an adventurous excursion where we will appreciate the wild vegetation and forests on the slopes of the mountains of the region.
Sail along the north-west arm of the Beagle Channel where the majestic “Glacier Alley” can be appreciated. Land at Puerto Williams, located on the Navarino Island, where there is an interesting anthropologic museum, a naval base and one of the last representations of sub-Antarctic vegetation.Day 06: Wednesday – M/N MARE AUSTRALIS
Early arrival to Ushuaia, the most important Argentinean city on Tierra del Fuego island and the southernmost city in the world.
Disembarkation after breakfast, from 09 am onwards. Our great adventure ends.
Reception and transfer to selected hotel for accommodations and breakfast.
During the afternoon, departure for a excursion to Tierra del Fuego National Park, with walks through the forests of millenaries Lengas, Guindos, Ñires, Calafates and Notros.
Optional visit to Laguna Verde and Sendero de los Castores.
Return to your hotel.

Day 07: Thursday – USHUAIA - CALAFATE
Breakfast at hotel.
Transfer to airport and board flight to Calafate. Reception and transfer to selected hotel for accommodations and breakfast.
Rest of the day at leisure to explore this beautiful Patagonian village.

Day 08: Friday – CALAFATE – PERITO MORENO
Breakfast at hotel.
Morning departure for a full day regular tour to Perito Merino Glacier, located in Los Glaciares National Park and have the wonderful experience of observing gigantic icebergs calving into the lake.
Guided visit of the glacier and return at hotel.

Day 09: Saturday – CALAFATE – PUERTO NATALES
Breakfast at hotel.
Morning departure in Pullman-bus to Puerto Natales, reception and transfer to your selected hotel for accommodations and breakfast.

Day 10: Sunday – PUERTO NATALES – PAINE NATIONAL PARK
Morning departure to Torres del Paine National Park, visit the park headquarters for an interesting briefing on the area to be visited. Tour to lago and glacier Grey and the Milodon cave in Puerto Natales. Walks to Laguna Azul, located on the other side of the Paine horns, for spectacular views of the entire Paine range, especially the granite Towers of Paine (10.262 ft).

Day 11: Monday – PUERTO NATALES – PUNTA ARENAS - SANTIAGO
Breakfast at hotel.
Morning departure in Pullman-bus to Punta Arenas airport on time to board flight with destination Santiago, Arrival, reception at airport and transfer to selected hotel for accommodations and breakfast.

Day 12: Tuesday - SANTIAGO
Breakfast at hotel.
Transfer to airport on time to board your next flight.
