06 Days – 05 Nights

Day 01: SANTIAGO
Arrival, reception at airport and transfer to selected hotel for accommodations and breakfast.

Day 02: SANTIAGO - CALAMA – HOTEL PARK CALAMA
Breakfast at hotel.
Departure to airport on time to board flight with destination Calama.
Reception and transfer to Park Calama hotel and accommdations with full board.
Lunch at hotel.
Park Calama hotel and Atacama Park Adventure have several and different semi-private excursions o be offered to hotel guests.
Our suggested itinerary woul be as follows:
Visit to the old and nowdays abandoned Nitrate processing complexes guided by a bilingual Tour guides.. The excursions programs depend on wheather conditions or what the local operator determines on behalf of the participants. Our itinerary is just an example of the most interesting and attractive excursions.
During the afternoon we suggest a guided visit to the Archaeological museum, boasting an important anthropological collection of the Atacama culture to continue afterwards to Quitor, a native old Inca fortress. Going to the furthest away oasis, we get to the archaeological village of Tulor, which is made up by round houses that are connected with each other.
Dinner at hotel.

Day 03: ATACAMA PARK ADVENTURE
Breakfast at hotel.
We suggest an expectacular visit to Toconao, the Liparita stone craftmen village. Impressive view of the Jeri valley, hike along this landscape. Next visit to the Chaxa lagoon, in the middle of the salt flat, pink flamingoes habitat and nesting area.
Return at hotel for lunch..
During the sunset we go to the Valle de la Luna, located in the salt mountain range, 90% salt and 10% other minerals, an unusual landscapes treasures at the bottom. Made up by attractive and impressive geological formations of diverse shapes and colors, giant dunes and beautiful salt crystal on the crounching ground make you feel like in another planet or the moon itself.

Day 04: ATACAMA PARK ADVENTURE
Breakfast at hotel.
Very early in the morning (4:30am) we departure to El Tatio, place of active gaysers located at 13.800 ft short hike around the geothermal field with boiling mud and steam columns that make a geological stage of enormous beauty. Return through the overwhelming landscape of the Andes. On the way, Tocorpuri and Sairecahur volcanoes (21.500 ft) can be seen.

Day 05: ATACAMA PARK ADVENTURE - SANTIAGO
Breakfast at hotel.
Transfer to Calama airport and board flight to Santiago.
Arrive, reception and transfer to selected hotel for accommodations with breakfast.

Day 06: SANTIAGO
Breakfast at hotel.
Transfer to airport on time to board your next flight.
